Hello!​

I'm Gill, Scottish born & bred.

Guiding since 2015; Private and Small Group Tours around Scotland... I absolutely love my job! ❤️

I'm a professionally trained and qualified Scottish Tour Guide*, but... please, don't let that worry you! 😉 (It just means I have excellent knowledge of all things Scottish... Oh, and I know loads of secret spots! 🤫). In fact, a tour with me is really really informal and often downright spontaneous! Outside of ferry bookings, etc... I run a very relaxed 'ship', with many adventures springing from the unknown!

What do I actually do?​

Well, I bring your dreams of Scotland alive, of course!!

Whether those dreams are fuelled by:

• Films, TV shows, Travel Programs

• Breathtaking beauty spots that are all over social media

• ...or, my favourite, the yearning to visit the old homeland that your ancestors left 200 years ago!

It begins with a spark!. If we're right for each other, then we connect and I help you build your itinerary!

I can suggest the best routes to fit your interests and recommend lodging areas to best utilise time and travel. I may also suggest a few roads less travelled, for added authenticity. (or we might just discover them together once we're out there!)

Once you're here, I collect you from your hotel to begin your adventure and whisk you, safely and gently along Scotland's magical wee roads! Travel will be in my spacious luxury vehicle showing off all the views and squeezing in all the photo ops. I will weave in tales of the land, the people, the battles, the folklore, the music... and you will see & hear how people live in Scotland today! ​
